FM 126, TEXAS — Both northbound and southbound lanes of FM 126 are completely closed between 1.3 and 1.6 miles north of FM 1812, near mile marker 282. The full roadway closure is required due to active construction on the FM 126 bridge over Noodle Creek.
Transportation crews have shut down through traffic at the bridge structure. A signed detour route is established and active to navigate motorists around the work zone.
TxDOT estimates the closure will remain in place until approximately 5:00 PM on November 13, 2026, while bridge work continues.
Drivers and freight dispatchers should account for the detour when routing through the area and follow all posted signs. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
