FM-146, TEXAS — High water is actively impacting travel in both eastbound and westbound directions along FM-146 between mile markers 0328 and 0332, stretching from 4.465 miles west of FM-2301 to 0.671 miles west of FM-2301. TxDOT reports that low water crossings along this section are flooding, resulting in dangerous water over the roadway.
State maintenance personnel are monitoring the route and assessing water levels across the affected segments. While no formal detour has been designated and significant traffic delays have not yet developed, the high severity of the water coverage presents major hazards for all vehicle classes.
Crews currently project the flood conditions to impact the highway until approximately 12:00 PM on October 26, 2026, subject to local drainage rates and runoff.
Commercial drivers and fleet dispatchers are urged to exercise extreme caution, avoid driving through water over the roadway, and consider alternate routing. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
