EASTBOUND US 290, TEXAS — The eastbound US 290 mainlane exit ramp to Scenic Brook is closed to traffic near mile marker 568. The closure is situated approximately 0.85 miles west of RM-1826, shutting down direct ramp access along this section of the corridor.
TxDOT crews are restricting the ramp nightly to carry out punchlist work and work zone safety enhancements. Official detours are established to guide traffic around the work zone, and motorists are advised to expect localized delays.
Work is restricted to overnight hours, shutting down nightly at 8:00 p.m. and reopening by 6:00 a.m. The recurring closures are scheduled to conclude by 6:00 a.m. on October 28, 2026.
