NORTHBOUND I-820, TEXAS — A complete closure of the direct connector flyover ramp linking northbound Interstate 820 to the eastbound State Highway 121/SH 183 TEXpress lanes is scheduled near Mile Marker 23 in Tarrant County.
Traffic management crews have marked an active detour to maintain travel through the corridor. Drivers traveling along northbound I-820 will be directed to bypass the closed flyover entrance ramp by remaining on the general-purpose lanes.
The overnight closure is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM on November 5, 2026, with all lanes expected to reopen by 5:00 AM on November 6, 2026.
Truck drivers and fleet dispatchers moving through Northeast Tarrant County should adjust toll routing plans and utilize the main lanes during this nighttime work window. We will update this report as conditions change or if TxDOT modifies the clearance schedule.
