FM 1625, TEXAS — Eastbound and westbound lanes of FM-1625 are facing severe disruptions and active detours between 1.829 miles north of FM-1327 and 4.248 miles south of US-183 (mile markers 452 to 450). Hazardous accumulations of ice and snow have settled onto the roadway, bridges, and overpasses, leading to high-severity road impacts.
TxDOT road maintenance crews are actively patrolling the corridor, plowing snow accumulations, and applying treatments to bridge decks and overpasses. Official detours have been established to direct traffic away from the most severely impacted sectors.
Winter weather management and roadway operations across the affected stretch are estimated to conclude by 5:45 p.m. on April 22, 2027, pending sustained clearance and safe pavement conditions.
Commercial truck operators and daily motorists are strongly advised to seek alternate routes and avoid travel on this segment of FM-1625. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
