FM-1485, TEXAS — A major accident has prompted a complete roadway closure on both northbound and southbound FM-1485 at Jefferson Chemical Road, approximately 0.45 miles east of SH-105. Emergency responders were dispatched to Mile Marker 0676 following the collision, which was initially reported at 7:22 a.m.
Traffic management crews and local emergency personnel are currently on the scene conducting clearance operations and securing the blocked travel lanes. No official detour route is established, and congestion is building rapidly in both directions.
TxDOT officials currently estimate that the incident will be cleared and the roadway reopened by approximately 10:00 a.m.
