SOUTHBOUND SH-121, TEXAS — All lanes of the westbound and southbound SH-121/SH-183 TEXpress managed corridors are fully closed from east of SH-183 (Mile Marker 292) to north of I-820 (Mile Marker 296) for scheduled nighttime road operations. The regular general-purpose highway main lanes remain open and are not affected by this closure.
Traffic management personnel have established a detour diverting all managed-lane traffic into the standard general-purpose lanes between Main Street and Texas Boulevard 26. Dynamic message signs and detour markers are deployed to route traffic seamlessly through the corridor.
The overnight closure took effect at 9:00 PM on October 30, 2026, and work crews are scheduled to reopen all closed lanes by 5:00 AM on October 31, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers routing through the Airport Freeway corridor should anticipate merging traffic entering the general-purpose lanes and reduce speeds near work zones. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
