I-30, TEXAS — A full freeway closure has shut down all main lanes on Interstate 30 between I-35E and I-45, spanning from mile marker 45 to mile marker 47. The total closure affects westbound traffic through the corridor and is required for ongoing roadway construction operations.
TxDOT crews and traffic management teams have closed all travel lanes and deployed active detour signage. All through traffic is being directed off the main freeway lanes onto designated alternate routes around the work zone.
The closure took effect at 10:00 PM on October 24, 2026, and is estimated to remain in place until approximately 5:00 AM on October 26, 2026, when all lanes are scheduled to reopen.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers moving freight through the area should expect detour routing and plan alternate regional routes to maintain schedules. We will update this report as TxDOT provides additional information.
