SOUTHBOUND I-35E, TEXAS — The southbound Interstate 35E exit ramp to eastbound Interstate 30 is completely closed in Dallas County. The closure is located at mile marker 428, extending from approximately 121 feet north of I-30 to 0.34 miles west of the interchange.
Traffic management crews have shut down the direct connector and established a designated detour route. Motorists attempting to transition from southbound I-35E to eastbound I-30 must follow all posted detour signage to navigate around the closure.
The ramp closure took effect at 10:00 p.m. on October 24, 2026, and is scheduled to remain in place until approximately 5:00 a.m. on October 26, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers should account for the ramp closure when routing through the downtown Dallas interchange area and plan for alternate connections. We will update this report as more information becomes available.
