WESTBOUND I-30, TEXAS — The westbound Interstate 30 Canton entrance ramp to the westbound I-30 collector-distributor lanes is fully closed to traffic just east of Interstate 35E. The blockage is located near mile marker 46 in Dallas County, completely shutting down access from the Canton entrance.
Traffic management personnel have established a designated detour route around the closed ramp to guide motorists around the obstruction. Mainline delays have not been reported, but traffic entering westbound I-30 is being actively redirected.
The ramp closure took effect at 10:00 PM on October 24, 2026, and operations are scheduled to remain in place until approximately 5:00 AM on October 26, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers routing through the area should utilize alternate entry points and plan for additional transit time via the detour. We will update this report as more details become available.
