US-75, TEXAS — All northbound and southbound main lanes of US-75 are closed overnight between Mile Marker 218 and Mile Marker 224 due to scheduled construction work. The full closure affects travel lanes stretching from 1.56 miles south of FM-121 to 2.55 miles south of Spur 381.
Work crews are closing all primary lanes each evening to facilitate roadwork operations. Traffic management personnel have established a mandatory detour, routing all mainline highway traffic directly onto the frontage road to bypass the active work zone.
This is a recurring nighttime closure operating between 6:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. each night. Roadwork operations and accompanying nightly closures are scheduled to run through 5:00 a.m. on October 30, 2026.
Motorists and commercial drivers should anticipate localized delays along the frontage road corridor and reduce speeds when traveling through the construction zone. We will update this report as conditions change or if TxDOT updates the operational schedule.
