FM 1318, TEXAS — Flooding has closed both eastbound and westbound lanes of FM-1318 between Mile Marker 306 and Mile Marker 308. Water is covering the roadway at low water crossings along a stretch extending from approximately 3.5 miles west to 1.6 miles west of FM-2301.
Transportation crews and monitoring personnel have responded to the area to evaluate high water levels. While no official detours have been established, traffic is unable to pass through the inundated sections of the highway.
TxDOT estimates the roadway impacts will continue through approximately 12:00 PM on October 26, 2026, pending receding water levels and road safety inspections.
Motorists and freight dispatchers should plan alternative travel routes and never attempt to drive through water-covered roadways. We will update this report as more details become available.
