BUSINESS 123, TEXAS — Both northbound and southbound lanes of Business 123 (Austin Street) are completely shut down near US-90, extending from mile marker 0490 to mile marker 0488. The full closure affects traffic from just north of Alternate US 90 to 100 feet south of US 90.
TxDOT crews have implemented a complete nighttime closure for the corridor. Active detours have been deployed to divert all commercial and passenger traffic around the affected work zone.
The shutdown began on the evening of October 28 at approximately 7:35 p.m. Roadway operations and maintenance work are scheduled to continue overnight, with all lanes expected to reopen by 9:00 a.m. on October 29.
Motorists and freight dispatchers are advised to plan alternative routes and follow posted detour markers. We will update this report as conditions change or lanes reopen.
