NORTHBOUND SH-121, TEXAS — The entrance ramp connecting to the eastbound SH-121/SH-183 TEXpress managed lanes at Brown Trail is completely closed. The closure impacts northbound SH-121 (Airport Freeway) at Mile Marker 294, located between FM-3029 and SH-183.
TxDOT crews have designated a detour route to handle incoming traffic during the nighttime operation. Vehicles traveling along the corridor are being directed to continue using the general-purpose highway lanes while the toll entrance remains blocked.
The overnight closure began at 9:00 PM on October 28 and is scheduled to remain in place until 5:00 AM on October 29, at which point the ramp is expected to reopen for the morning commute.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers should plan for alternate toll access points and exercise caution when navigating merge points into the general-purpose lanes. We will update this report as TxDOT releases further updates or confirms the reopening.
