EASTBOUND I-820, TEXAS — The entrance ramp to the eastbound Interstate 820 TEXpress lanes at Iron Horse Boulevard is closed for scheduled operations between mile markers 20 and 21, roughly one mile east of US-377 in Tarrant County.
A designated detour is active to maintain regional traffic flow. Drivers unable to access the managed toll lanes are directed to continue along the eastbound I-820 general purpose lanes.
The restriction is limited to nighttime hours, beginning at 9:00 p.m. and reopening by 5:00 a.m. each morning, with weekend work extending until 6:30 a.m. The overall closure sequence is scheduled to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on October 31, 2026.
Freight operators and dispatchers should account for localized merging near the ramp and plan accordingly. We will update this report as TxDOT releases new conditions or updates.
