WESTBOUND SH-183, TEXAS — The entrance ramp connecting Industrial Boulevard (FM 157) to the westbound SH 121/183 TEXpress lanes is completely closed. The closure is centered at mile marker 0582, extending from 0.3 miles west of FM 157 to 0.6 miles east of SH 121.
Traffic management crews have implemented a detour route to maintain vehicle flow. Westbound motorists and commercial vehicles unable to access the TEXpress lanes are being directed to use the standard westbound SH-183 general purpose lanes.
This disruption is restricted to nighttime hours, beginning each evening at 9:00 PM and reopening each morning. The recurring overnight closure is scheduled to conclude on November 6, 2026, by 5:00 AM.
Freight dispatchers and overnight drivers should account for localized merging near the Industrial Boulevard interchange and monitor alternate routing. We will update this report as TxDOT releases further notices.
