I-20, TEXAS — Multiple frontage road lanes are closed along both eastbound and westbound Interstate 20 near Mile Marker 108, between FM-866 and FM-1936. While the main travel lanes on I-20 remain fully open, the frontage road blockage is causing localized traffic impacts in the immediate area.
Traffic management and emergency personnel are on the scene actively working to secure the site and clear the blocked lanes. Signs and traffic control measures are in place to divert traffic safely past the obstruction on the service road.
According to TxDOT, the incident is projected to be cleared by approximately 3:00 AM on November 3, 2026. Reopening times may shift depending on site clearance and recovery progress.
Drivers and commercial operators utilizing the I-20 frontage roads should reduce speed, watch for active crews, and plan for brief delays or seek alternate access points. We will update this report as additional details become available.
