WESTBOUND I-30, TEXAS — The westbound Interstate 30 entrance ramp from Harwood Street is closed to traffic just west of Interstate 45 near mile marker 46. The closure is limited specifically to the entrance ramp on the westbound frontage road, with mainlanes remaining open.
TxDOT crews have established an official detour to direct commercial carriers and passenger vehicles safely around the blocked ramp. This operation is designated as a nighttime-only closure to mitigate congestion during peak freight and commute windows.
The nightly ramp closures began on November 2, 2026, and are scheduled to remain in effect until approximately 5:00 AM on November 9, 2026.
Truck drivers and fleet dispatchers planning routes through downtown Dallas should account for the active detour when entering westbound I-30. We will update this report as TxDOT provides new information.
