EASTBOUND I-30, TEXAS — The eastbound Interstate 30 frontage road is fully closed to traffic from Linkcrest Drive to Verda Vista, between Mile Marker 2 and Mile Marker 3 near Spur 580. While all main freeway lanes remain open, the frontage road shutdown has triggered local traffic delays and requires an active detour.
Traffic management personnel and maintenance crews are on scene coordinating detours around the closed segment of the frontage road. Motorists needing access to properties or connecting routes between Linkcrest Drive and Verda Vista are being redirected via designated alternate routes.
The high-severity closure took effect at 9:00 p.m. on October 29, 2026, and operations are scheduled to continue until approximately 5:00 a.m. on October 31, 2026.
