US-380, TEXAS — Both eastbound and westbound lanes of US-380 (W. Princeton Drive) are fully closed west of FM-982 near mile marker 644 following a struck gas line. The shutdown covers approximately 1.5 miles of the highway, resulting in significant corridor-wide delays.
Emergency personnel and utility repair crews are on scene addressing the line rupture and securing the roadway. Official detours have been activated to route all eastbound and westbound traffic around the closure zone.
TxDOT estimates the closure will remain in place until approximately 5:00 a.m. on October 30 as crews work to complete repairs and ensure the area is safe for travel.
Motorists and freight dispatchers should avoid the stretch of W. Princeton Drive and utilize alternate regional routes to bypass the incident. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
