FM-1834, TEXAS — Both northbound and southbound lanes of FM-1834 are fully closed to traffic between SH-186 and FM-490, spanning Mile Markers 704 to 706. The full corridor shutdown is required to facilitate daytime construction activity, resulting in notable traffic delays throughout the area.
Work zone personnel and traffic control units have closed the roadway in both directions to safely conduct operations. No official detour has been established, requiring commercial freight carriers and passenger vehicles to find alternate connecting routes.
The daytime closure took effect at 8:00 a.m. and is estimated to remain in place until approximately 7:00 p.m. this evening, October 29, 2026, when travel lanes are slated to reopen.
