LOOP 360, TEXAS — Severe icy conditions have severely impacted travel along both northbound and southbound Loop 360 (State Loop 360). The hazardous stretch extends between mile markers 446 and 432, from 0.03 miles south of Walsh Tarlton Lane to 0.49 miles west of US-183, prompting officials to actively discourage all travel through the corridor.
Traffic management personnel have deployed detour routes to redirect traffic around the affected area. Roadway maintenance crews remain on-site to evaluate surfaces and manage safety hazards as major delays build in both directions.
TxDOT records indicate the hazard response and advisory window is currently slated to remain active through August 25, 2027, at 4:30 PM, pending condition improvements and road treatment efforts.
Drivers and commercial dispatchers are strongly urged to avoid the corridor, reduce speeds, and plan alternate routes around the area. We will update this report as additional details or status changes become available.
