FM 3177, TEXAS — Travel is strongly discouraged along both eastbound and westbound FM 3177 from 1.159 miles south of Loyola Lane to 0.224 miles south of US-290 (mile markers 0438 to 0434). Hazardous icy conditions have created severe travel impacts across the entire stretch, leading to heavy delays and roadway closures.
Traffic management crews have implemented active detours to redirect commercial trucks and passenger vehicles away from the affected segment. Maintenance personnel are on scene monitoring conditions and managing route diversions.
TxDOT reports an extended estimated closure and clearance window extending through August 25, 2027, at 4:30 p.m.
