US 87, TEXAS — A major traffic incident has restricted travel along US-87 in both the northbound and southbound directions near FM-2589 at Mile Marker 92. The affected corridor extends from approximately 892 feet east of FM-2589 to 0.27 miles west of the intersection.
Emergency responders and road crews are on the scene managing the blockage. Flag personnel are actively directing traffic through the restricted zone, and drivers are advised to approach the area with caution.
TxDOT estimates the incident and recovery operations will impact the roadway until approximately 5:00 PM.
