NORTHBOUND SH-289, TEXAS — Alternating travel lanes are subject to closure along northbound SH-289 approximately 1.6 to two miles north of Loop 12 near mile marker 262 in Dallas County. The closures are required to accommodate scheduled highway maintenance operations.
TxDOT crews are conducting the repairs as night work only, closing alternating lanes to facilitate work across the corridor. An official detour has been established to route traffic around the maintenance zone.
Work is scheduled to take place during overnight hours, starting at 8:00 p.m. on November 3, 2026, and is estimated to wrap up by 5:00 a.m. on November 13, 2026.
