NORTHBOUND SH-121, TEXAS — All lanes of the SH-121/SH-183 (Airport Freeway) TEXpress corridor are closed from the Hurstview Drive exit to Industrial Boulevard (FM 157), spanning mile markers 296 to 292. The general-purpose main lanes remain open and are not affected by the closure.
Traffic management teams have established a detour redirecting all tollway traffic into the standard general-purpose lanes. This closure is scheduled exclusively for nighttime operational hours to limit daytime transit disruptions.
The project began on November 2, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. and is scheduled to fully conclude with all lanes reopened by 5:00 a.m. on November 5, 2026.
Commercial drivers and fleet dispatchers traveling through Tarrant County should prepare for lane mergers near the Hurstview exit and monitor speeds through the work zone. We will update this report if road conditions change or TxDOT modifies the operational schedule.
