SOUTHBOUND I-35, TEXAS — The southbound Interstate 35 exit ramp to Judson Road is currently shut down due to water over the roadway. The closure is situated between mile markers 170 and 171, stretching from east of PA 1502 to west of SH-218.
Highway maintenance crews and traffic officials are monitoring the ponding conditions and managing the ramp closure. Drivers traveling through the area are instructed to seek alternate routes to access Judson Road.
TxDOT projects that the roadway will be cleared and the ramp reopened by approximately 5:00 PM today, depending on drainage and weather conditions.
Commercial dispatchers and motorists along the I-35 corridor should adjust travel plans accordingly and exercise caution when approaching the area. We will update this report as additional information becomes available.
