SH-95, TEXAS — A maximum-severity traffic alert has been issued for SH-95 in both directions between mile marker 0436 and mile marker 0434, spanning from 3.13 miles north of Loop 109 to 2.235 miles south of Spur 277. Travel is officially discouraged along this corridor due to dangerous, icy conditions that have severely impacted roadway safety.
Traffic management personnel have established an active detour to guide vehicles away from the impassable stretch. Road maintenance crews are deployed to monitor conditions and manage closures, but major delays remain unavoidable for anyone attempting to transit the area.
TxDOT records list an estimated restriction window extending through August 25, 2027, at 4:30 PM, subject to ongoing assessments and clearing operations.
Commercial drivers and fleet dispatchers should immediately adjust routes and bypass this section of SH-95 entirely. We will update this report as soon as clearance crews report significant progress or reopened lanes.
