NORTHBOUND SH-87, TEXAS — All northbound main lanes of SH-87 are completely closed to traffic near Loop 108 following a fatal collision. The shutdown affects the corridor from 829 feet west of Loop 108 to approximately 0.7 miles east of Loop 108, spanning between mile markers 0576 and 0574.
Emergency personnel and crash investigation teams are on scene, and a detour has been established to route traffic around the closure. All main travel lanes remain blocked while crews conduct investigations and clearance operations.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the incident is estimated to be cleared by approximately 4:45 PM.
