SH-194, TEXAS — State Highway 194 is fully closed in both northbound and southbound directions near the US-70 intersection due to active road construction. The shutdown spans from approximately 0.33 miles north of US-70 to 296 feet south of the highway junction around Mile Marker 312.
Road maintenance crews are actively working on-site, and an official detour has been established to guide motorists around the work zone. While significant traffic delays have not yet developed, all through traffic is being diverted off the main roadway.
According to transportation officials, the closure took effect at 9:39 a.m. on November 4, 2026, and is scheduled to remain in place until approximately 5:00 p.m. today, pending the completion of scheduled work.
