EASTBOUND LOOP 8, TEXAS — The direct flyover connector ramp from southbound JFK Boulevard to eastbound Loop 8 is closed to all traffic due to maintenance operations. The closure affects traffic roughly two miles west of Interstate 69 at mile marker 716.
Crews are actively working on the direct connector structure. A designated detour has been established to guide motorists around the ramp closure, but significant delays are anticipated along adjacent corridors.
The closure took effect at 9:00 AM on November 4, 2026, and roadwork is projected to conclude by 3:00 PM the same day.
