FM-734, TRAVIS COUNTY, TEXAS — Hazardous icy conditions have triggered severe travel disruptions across both northbound and southbound lanes of FM-734 between mile markers 0426 and 0438, extending from 0.815 miles north of McNeil Drive to 2.171 miles west of SH-130. TxDOT has designated the situation at maximum severity, and travel is officially discouraged along this entire stretch.

The hazardous conditions began impacting the corridor at 11:13 a.m. on November 6, 2026. TxDOT currently estimates clearance and detour operations will remain in place through August 25, 2027, at 4:30 p.m., subject to ongoing assessments.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers are advised to plan alternative corridors and expect major regional travel delays. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
