FM-1327, TEXAS — Hazardous winter conditions have led to severe delays and detours along eastbound and westbound FM-1327 from US-183 to SH-45 (Mile Markers 538 to 532). Accumulations of ice and snow on the roadway, bridges, and overpasses have created significant travel hazards across both directions of travel.
Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) maintenance personnel are on scene actively patrolling and plowing the corridor. Detours are currently in place, and transportation officials are urging all motorists to seek alternate routes to bypass the impacted area.
TxDOT operations and active weather management along this stretch are currently projected to remain in effect through April 22, 2027, at approximately 5:45 p.m., depending on clearance progress and changing conditions.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers are advised to plan alternative corridors and exercise extreme caution on all elevated structures throughout the area. We will update this report as TxDOT provides new information.
