EAST AND WESTBOUND FM 1825, TEXAS — Hazardous icy conditions have severely disrupted traffic along FM 1825 in both directions between 0.474 miles and 3.857 miles east of Interstate 35. TxDOT has categorized the roadway event at maximum severity around mile marker 540, resulting in extensive travel disruptions.
Traffic management crews have implemented active detours to redirect commercial vehicles and passenger cars safely around the compromised corridor. Road maintenance teams remain active in the area, and travel along this stretch is strongly discouraged due to dangerous traction hazards.
TxDOT reports an extended duration for the advisory, with estimated clearance times currently projected through August 25, 2027.
