BUSINESS I-20, TEXAS — A commercial lowboy trailer has become high centered on a railroad crossing off Business Interstate 20 (BI-20B) at County Road 170, approximately 3.1 miles east of US-285. While the crossing is obstructed, the main travel lanes on Business I-20 are not affected at this time.
Heavy towing and recovery personnel are actively working at the crossing to free the immobilized trailer and clear the tracks. Motorists attempting to access CR 170 from Business I-20 may encounter localized disruptions while crews operate.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the incident was reported at approximately 3:13 p.m., with recovery operations estimated to clear by around 5:30 p.m.
