NORTHBOUND US-75, TEXAS — The northbound US-75 frontage road is completely closed to traffic between Loy Lake Road in Sherman and FM 691 due to a major construction project. Northbound main lanes remain open, but all frontage road lanes in this stretch are blocked.
A detour is active to guide motorists around the work zone. Traffic is directed to merge onto the US-75 northbound main lanes to bypass the closure, then use the northbound exit ramp to FM 691 to re-access the frontage road.
According to TxDOT, the long-term closure began at 7:00 a.m. on March 30, 2026, and is expected to remain in place until approximately 6:00 p.m. on February 26, 2027.
