NORTHBOUND I-35, TEXAS — The northbound Interstate 35 entrance ramp from State Highway 173 and the frontage road near Devine is closed for ramp reconstruction. The closure is located at mile marker 124 in Medina County. Main travel lanes on I-35 remain open and are not affected by the work.
TxDOT has implemented a signed detour for affected traffic. Drivers seeking to access northbound I-35 must travel southbound on I-35 to SH 132, execute a turnaround at SH 132, and enter northbound I-35 from that location.
The reconstruction closure began at 8:00 a.m. on October 16, 2026, and work is estimated to continue until approximately 7:00 p.m. on November 5, 2026.
