NORTHBOUND SH-121, TEXAS — The left lane of northbound SH-121 (Airport Freeway) is closed starting roughly 0.28 miles north of Interstate 820 and extending toward Hurstview Drive (FM-3029) near mile marker 296. The closure restricts general-purpose travel lanes and carries a high-severity alert for the corridor.
Traffic management personnel have established an active detour to route vehicles around the work area. Maintenance and operations crews remain active along the stretch between the I-820/SH-121/SH-183 interchange and Hurstview Drive to manage the lane restriction.
The lane shutdown began at 7:30 PM on October 30, 2026, and is scheduled to remain in place until approximately 10:00 AM on October 31, 2026, pending final road clearance.
