NORTHBOUND US-287 — The northbound US-287 exit ramp connecting to westbound Interstate 20 is completely closed near mile marker 470. The ramp closure spans from approximately 0.7 miles east of I-20 to just east of the main interchange lanes.
TxDOT crews have implemented a full closure of the ramp for nighttime maintenance operations. A marked detour route is actively posted to guide traffic and commercial vehicles around the closure to access westbound I-20.
Work began at 11:00 PM on October 21, 2026, and the ramp is scheduled to reopen by 6:00 AM on October 22, 2026, ahead of the morning commute.
Drivers and freight dispatchers should plan alternate routes and prepare for detour-related routing adjustments when navigating this interchange overnight. We will update this report as TxDOT provides additional information or if clearance times shift.
