EAST/WESTBOUND FM-490 — Both eastbound and westbound lanes of FM-490 are closed to standard through traffic from approximately 1.9 miles east of FM-493 to just east of FM-88 (Mile Markers 0530 to 0532).
Traffic management personnel have implemented one-way traffic control through the area, and an active detour is routing vehicles around the main closure. Drivers passing through the operational zone should expect travel delays.
The lane closure and control measures took effect on October 21, 2026, and operations are currently estimated to continue through February 28, 2027, at approximately 12:00 PM.
Commercial truck drivers and commuters are advised to allow extra transit time or utilize designated alternate routes. We will update this report as new conditions develop.
