EASTBOUND US 290, TEXAS — The eastbound US 290 mainlane exit ramp to Scenic Brook is fully closed to traffic just west of RM 1826 near mile marker 568. The closure is generating delays for eastbound traffic moving through the corridor.
Crews have closed the ramp to conduct work zone safety operations and punch list inspections. Signed detours are in place to redirect motorists around the restricted exit point.
Work began at 7:00 AM and operations are expected to wrap up with the ramp reopening by approximately 11:00 AM.
Drivers and commercial dispatchers are advised to plan for minor travel delays and utilize alternate routes through the area. We will update this report as conditions change or lanes reopen.
