EASTBOUND US-181, TEXAS — A major traffic incident has forced a full closure of all eastbound lanes on US-181 along the Harbor Bridge in Nueces County. The closure spans from 0.617 miles to 0.648 miles north of Interstate 37, near mile marker 648.
Emergency response crews and highway management personnel are currently on site addressing the incident. With all travel lanes blocked, an active detour has been established to divert approaching traffic around the scene.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, clearance operations are actively underway. The incident is currently estimated to clear by approximately 4:30 PM.
