FM-485, TEXAS — All east and westbound lanes of FM-485 are currently closed near the FM-1644 intersection due to railroad repair operations. The closure affects traffic in both directions between 338 feet west of FM-1644 and 16 feet east of the intersection at Mile Marker 606.
Work crews are actively conducting repairs along the rail crossing. With all main lanes obstructed and no designated detour in place, through traffic cannot pass the work zone.
The roadway closure took effect at 7:00 a.m. on October 27 and is projected to remain active until approximately 5:00 p.m. on October 28, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and local motorists should map alternate routes to avoid delays across this corridor. We will update this report as new information becomes available.
