EAST AND WESTBOUND FM 1325, TEXAS — Both directions of FM 1325 are experiencing severe travel disruptions from 0.382 miles north of Burnet Road to 0.659 miles south of Loop 1 (mile markers 0434 to 0432). TxDOT has classified the incident at maximum severity due to hazardous icy conditions across the roadway.
Active detours have been established to reroute traffic away from the affected corridor. Transportation officials strongly discourage travel through the area and advise all drivers to seek alternate routes.
TxDOT indicates that conditions and travel impacts are estimated to persist through August 25, 2027, at approximately 4:30 PM.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers should reroute regional freight traffic around this section of Travis County to avoid major gridlock. We will update this report as more information becomes available.
