RM 2322, TRAVIS COUNTY, TEXAS — Severe winter roadway hazards have prompted active detours and significant travel delays along Ranch to Market Road 2322 in both the northbound and southbound directions. The affected stretch extends from 0.026 miles east of SH-71 to 2.58 miles east of SH-71, spanning mile markers 0437 to 0432, where snow and ice have accumulated across travel lanes, bridges, and overpasses.
Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) crews are actively patrolling the corridor and deploying plows to clear the frozen precipitation. Due to the severity of the ice pack and elevated bridge risks, official detours have been implemented, and authorities urge drivers to seek alternate routes.
TxDOT response operations were initiated on the morning of November 6, 2026, and hazardous travel impacts are projected to continue until treatment and clearing procedures conclude, currently estimated through 5:45 p.m. on April 22, 2027.
Freight dispatchers and commercial vehicle operators are advised to reroute around the area and anticipate extended travel times across regional connectors. We will update this report as TxDOT road crews provide further updates.
