BUSINESS I-35, TEXAS — Both northbound and southbound lanes of Business I-35 (San Bernardo Avenue) are closed between 1.8 miles and 1.98 miles south of Interstate 35, at Mile Marker 632. The roadway is shut down to accommodate an ongoing Laredo Police Department investigation following a building fire.
Local law enforcement and emergency personnel have secured the perimeter and established detours around the incident site. Transportation officials strongly discourage travel through the affected corridor while crews manage the scene.
The Texas Department of Transportation currently lists an estimated clearance window extending through December 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM, subject to the progress of the investigation.
