RM-12, TEXAS — Severe icy road conditions have led officials to discourage travel along Ranch to Market Road 12 in both the northbound and southbound directions. The affected corridor extends from 0.489 miles to 0.954 miles south of RM-3238, centered around mile marker 440, with maximum severity delays reported.
Road maintenance crews and traffic management teams are responding to the hazard. Official detours are currently active to divert traffic away from the icy section, and drivers are being directed to use alternate routes.
The disruption began on November 6, 2026, at 11:13 a.m. TxDOT currently estimates the event resolution window to extend through August 25, 2027, at 4:30 p.m.
