NORTHBOUND I-35E, TEXAS — Alternating lanes are closed along the northbound Interstate 35E frontage road from just south of FM 1171 to 0.37 miles north of FM 1171 at Mile Marker 452. The closures span the frontage road between Main Street and Millican Drive. The main lanes of I-35E remain open.
Crews are conducting daytime asphalt paving operations across both the right and left lanes to maintain access for freight and local traffic. An official detour is established to guide drivers around the work zone.
The daytime roadwork operations began at 9:00 a.m. on October 27, 2026, and are estimated to conclude by 3:00 p.m. on October 28, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers should plan for detour routes when accessing local facilities and businesses along the northbound frontage corridor. We will update this report as TxDOT updates conditions.
