WESTBOUND SH-183, TEXAS — All lanes of the westbound SH-121/183 (Airport Freeway) TEXpress corridor are closed from Main Street to Texas Boulevard 26. The closure is centered near mile marker 0582, extending from west of SH-10 to SH-121. The general-purpose main lanes remain open and unaffected.
A designated detour is active to direct motorists around the toll lane closure. Traffic is being diverted into the adjacent westbound general-purpose lanes, and crews are maintaining signage throughout the work zone.
This is a recurring nighttime-only closure that commenced at 9:00 p.m. on November 2, 2026. Work is scheduled to conclude each morning with final project clearance expected by 5:00 a.m. on November 6, 2026.
Commercial truck drivers and dispatchers operating through Tarrant County should anticipate localized slowdowns near merge points into the general-purpose lanes. We will update this report as TxDOT provides additional information.
