NORTHBOUND I-35E, TEXAS — A major roadway disruption has forced northbound Interstate 35E down to a single travel lane south of SH-180. The restriction affects the corridor from Mile Marker 425 to Mile Marker 426, approximately one mile south of the state highway interchange.
Emergency response units and road crews have implemented two-way traffic control through the remaining open lane. Official detour routes are in place to guide traffic around the impacted section of the interstate.
The incident was initially reported at 2:55 a.m., with clearance operations projected to remain active until approximately 8:45 a.m. Significant travel delays are expected to persist throughout the duration of the work.
Commercial truck drivers and commuters are advised to plan alternate routes and be prepared to stop when approaching the work zone. We will update this report as further details or lane re-openings are confirmed.
